Overview

The misc module is a placeholder for a number of modules that all export themselves as a single function so as to appear as inbuilt ICI function.

The various functions in the module extend ICI's capabilities in a number of ways or enhance performance.

Interface

• fread - read a specific amount of data from a file

• getbyte - read a single byte from a file

• join - join strings with optional separator

• ungetc - push input back onto file
